Murrayfield Golf Club
In 1904 the hole played from the tee between the 5th and 6th fairways was simply known as “Dykeside”, but the present hole was subsequently named as “Belmont” after the lands and estate of Belmont lying to the South. The hole now retains the historical connection with both names.
Aim to land short of the green to run on. Anything left, right or long will be heavily punished.
