At one time there was a well in this area, no doubt essential for the watering of livestock. The name follows the old field name.
Pro Tip
Accurate tee shot required to avoid bunkers on right and trees on left. Either fly ball all the way on to the green to hold the second shot or play short and allow ball to run down on to the green. Do not go long or right as trouble awaits.
