Gents Open Foursomes Strokeplay Rules

Handicap - Half combined - strokes, do NOT round up
1. The Competition is open to amateur golfers who are members of recognised golf clubs and in possession of an active CONGU competition handicap.
2. The Competition will be a foursomes stroke-play competition played over 18 holes, in accordance with the Rules of Golf approved by the R & A.
3. Entry fee £24.00 per couple is payable with entry.
4. Individual maximum allowance (28) will be used.
5. One drink per person will be served at both the 10th and 16th hole.
6 The Committee reserves the right to reject any entry and to alter or amend any of the foregoing rules.
7. In the event of any dispute relating to the competition the Committee's decision will be final.
8. No competitor will receive more than one prize.
9 Entries will be allocated tee times on a first come, first served basis.
10. Jeans and/or trainers are not permitted on the golf course or in the clubhouse.
Dress code is suitable golf attire.
11. 5 prizes in Gross & Nett scores
